Architecture
Fermilab's founding director, the late Robert Wilson, greatly influenced the design of the entire laboratory site. Both a renowned physicist and an accomplished artist and sculptor, Wilson believed that a research laboratory should be a cultural center for the community and the nation. The Feynman Computing Center and Wilson Hall are just two of the unique buildings found on site.
