This building in Ottawa is a glass curtain wall of one step forward when it is a continuous reflecting surface that melds into the sky. Shape of the building, and many post-modern buildings, especially in England, creates an optical illusion. If you look too long, where the building meets the sky lost sense of what is really happening in the beginning.
It is not allegorical or symbolic use of classical motifs, no rearrangement of forms, not clever twists, this is just an ultramodern building, using natural light and indeed nature itself, to create a visual sensation.
